The Bill (Reg. No.5409) submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduces amendments to Clause 4 of the Law "On Single Customs Tariff" and to Clause 3 of the Law "On Value Added Tax" in the part of the implementation of the minimal customs value at the rate EUR 100 free of entrance charge and value added tax.
In the course of the Committee sitting, it was declared that the Bill is aimed at the introduction in the national tax legislation of the minimal goods value free of entrance taxes and charges for the subjects of the foreign economic activity.
The Committee members suggested altering the figure "100" into the figure "200" in the text of the Bill aimed at the unification of the legislation and simplifying of the customs procedures. They believe that adoption of the Bill facilitates the non-admission of the ungrounded expenses of the customs bodies for the conduction of the customs procedures, facilitation of the working conditions of the post enterprises, more qualified service for the tax payers.
